For those shooters looking to add additional accessories to their AR rifles but find themselves limited to 4-Rail handguards and free float tubes, DPMS has the answer to these needs. DPMS offers the Lo-Pro-style 3-Rail upper receiver, an AR receiver that provides three additional mounting options. Machined from a 6066-T6 extrusion, this upper receiver is hardcoat anodized per Mil Spec and Teflon®coated a matte black. The upper receiver features a standard Picatinny top rail with 15 slots, but making this AR receiver unique is the additional rails featured on the left and right sides. These two sides rails, located 22.5 degrees from horizontal, provide additional slots for mounting a variety of accessories. The left-hand rail features 15 slots while the right-hand rail provides an additional six.
